$12 per adult (60-minute and 90-minute format)
Visitor Centre, Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour NSW
Accompanied by our experienced guide, the members of your club have an opportunity to learn about and visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Convict Precinct as well as the location of the island’s former shipyard, industrial school for girls and reformatory. Drawing on many fascinating stories and anecdotes, our guide will paint a vivid picture of the island’s convict, maritime, industrial and recent past.
Our 60-minute Seniors Club Tour is suitable for groups with less mobile members as it can be tailored to only cover the lower island. Meanwhile, our 90-minute Seniors Club Tour expands the experience to include a journey to the upper island.
The easiest way to get to Cockatoo Island is by public ferry. The F3 and F8 services operate to Cockatoo Island daily, departing from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo as well as from wharves along Parramatta River.
