Discover for yourself with our all-ages Haunted History Tour, running Saturday evenings! As you explore atmospheric landmarks, including the convict workshops and gaol, Dog Leg Tunnel and Biloela House, our guide will blend history with mystery to captivate your imagination!

Plan Ahead

The easiest way to get to Cockatoo Island is by public ferry. The F3 and F8 services operate to Cockatoo Island daily, departing from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo as well as from wharves along Parramatta River. For further information, including timetables, visit the Transport NSW website. You can also visit Cockatoo Island by water taxi, private boat or kayak.

Book a group tour

Subject to guide availability, we accept private bookings for groups of at least ten people. Note: Private group tours are not available on Saturday nights. To arrange a private booking, complete our group tour enquiry form.


Additional Info

All ages: Haunted History is a family-friendly tour; however, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Warning to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples: Haunted History contains stories (and may contain images and/or visuals) of deceased people.

Island conditions: This tour involves a steep incline and some uneven surfaces, and it is not suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. A moderate level of fitness and mobility is required.

What to bring: Suitable walking shoes, wet weather clothing (if needed) and a torch (phone torches are adequate).

Weather: This tour will proceed regardless of weather conditions except in the event of extreme weather.
